 Abstract:
The purpose of researches is development of effective composite materials for wear-resistant plasma spraying coatings of tribo-coupling details operated {exploited} under unfavorable conditions of a friction (a boundary lubrication or absence of the lubricant, the heightened contact loadings and temperatures).
Morphology, the shape, sizes and structure of particles of composition powders for a plasma spraying are studied using scanning electron microscopy, metallography, microX-ray spectral and X-ray analysis. The particles of powders received using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis represent system of phases ?binder ? solid lubricant ? carbide of titanium? in a cladding shell from metal. The mentioned system of phases creates backgrounds of raise of wear-resistance of coatings from spraying powders. The active cladding shell serves for a generating of strong bonds on boundary lines of the sprayed composition particles and also between particles and substrate. Besides during flight of particles it is intended for elimination of effect of a high-temperature environment on a carbide phase with increasing of stability and conservation of carbides in the deposited coatings.
Recommendations touched of storing, preparations to thermal spraying and also habits of optimization of regimes of a plasma spraying of the synthesized powders are resulted in view of properties of the synthesized powders.
