In this study, the comprehensive model of TBC is developed based on a shear-lag theory for taking into account of a sliding deformation at splat boundaries and stress relaxation caused by cracking in the splat. The influence of spray parameter such as particle velocity and pre-heated substrate temperature on residual stress of TBC can be simulated using the proposed model. In order to verify the model, the experimental results obtained from TBC samples sprayed with several kinds of spray parameters will be compared.
