 Abstract:
In this work, titanium sub-oxide coating was built-up on a flexible polymer for its application as the active layer of a radiation sensor. Substrate was easily degraded because of high temperatures reached in the jet. However, spraying parameters were adequately balanced for providing well-bonded APS TiO2-x coatings onto the polymer without damaging the substrate. Sensing response of the functional coating was tested in front of UV-light (»= 365nm), LED blue light (»= 453nm) and LED yellow light (»= 530nm).
