 Abstract:
CoNiCrAlY powders with similar granulometry and chemical composition, but different oxygen content were prepared by vacuum inner gas atomization. The oxidation behavior of powder at 1000 was investigated by mass gain and rate measurements, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that the change of mass gain and rate increase obviously with the time increasing; their relationship is linear at the former stage and parabolic at the later stage. The formed oxide consisted of Al2O3 was detected by XRD after 16h. the intensity of its diffraction peaks became stronger with time. The oxidation resistance of the powder depends on the concentration gradient of oxygen.
