 Abstract:
Abstract: Aluminum inner pot of traditional rice cooker is heated by using resistance wire and the rice is cooked by thermal diffusion, With the improvement of people's living standards, People have higher requirements for the color and flavor of edible rice. A possible way of improving the taste of the edible rice is to make the aluminum inner pot heated in all directions with electromagnetic by preparing a magnetic coating on the outer surface of the aluminum inner pot In this study, Iron coatings were prepared on the aluminum substrate by low pressure plasma spray (LPPS)atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and high velocity flame spraying (HVOF) respectively ,using aerosolized spherical iron powder as feedstock. The phase constitute, microstructures and iron valence of iron coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) The porosity of the iron coating was measured by quantitative metallography. The effects of porosity, the internal interface and iron oxides of the iron coatings on magnetic properties of the coatings were investigated .
