Preparation and characterization of La0.9Ca0.1Cr0.9Mg0.1O3 high emissivity coatings deposited by APS

 Abstract:
According to molecular formula, the La0.9Ca0.1Cr0.9Mg0.1O3 raw powder was prepared by solid phase synthesis with Cr2O3, La2O3, CaO, MgO. The spray drying process was selected to make agglomerate powder for coating deposition. Then the La0.9Ca0.1Cr0.9Mg0.1O3 coatings were prepared by Atmosphere Plasma Spraying (APS). The phase of coatings was checked by XRD, and the elements were checked by EDS. The in temperature range of 600^800 was tested by IRE-2 infrared radiometer. The thermal shock resistance of coatings from 1100 to room temperature was tested. Based on the structure characteristic and the test results of coatings, the mechanism of La0.9Ca0.1Cr0.9Mg0.1O3 was analyzed.
