 Abstract:
NiCrAl coating on quenched 45 steel substrate were prepared by HVOF process, investigate the effect of the spraying distance on the microstructure, porosity, bonding strength, micro hardness of the coating, and the efficiency of powder deposition. The results showed that: NiCrAl coating porosity, bond strength, micro hardness, deposition efficiency significantly affected by spraying distance, the trend of the spraying distance impact on coating porosity, bond strength, micro hardness and deposition efficiency is increases first and then decreasing, combined between the coating and the substrate for mechanical bonding. Obtain optimal spray parameters: spray distance 360mm, kerosene flow rate 22L / h, the oxygen flow rate 850L / min; use this parameters for spraying process, the coating binding strength is 66 MPa, microhardness is 418.56 HV0.3, porosity is 1.1%, powder deposition efficiency up to 65.3%, with good mechanical properties, and lay a good foundation for their work on the deposition of high temperature coatings, to meet production needs.
