 Abstract:
In this paper, the WC-10Co4Cr particles with different content of nano WC particle were deposited on Q235 steel substrate by HVOF method. The microstructure and phase constitutions of deposited coatings were characterized by SEM and X-Ray, respectively. The microhardness, abrasive wear resistance and fracture toughness of these coatings were also evaluated. It was revealed that the spray conditions and the content of nano WC particle possessed predominant effect on microstructure, phase constitutions and properties of deposited coatings. The microhardness of WC-10Co4Cr coatings varied from 627.9±47.24 HV0.3 to 924±99.26 HV0.3, and mass loss of WC-17Co coatings from 2.83±0.06 mg to 21.4±6.04.
