 Abstract:
The development of laser technology makes it possible to study in depth the process of repairing and strengthening of machine parts and equipment by laser welding, and expanding opportunities for the development of new technological processes previously not used in production. One of such processes is the use of pulsed laser radiation to recover the fine cutting tool with wear-resistant powders based on Fe - FeCCrWMoV. In this researching we consider the process of pulsed laser radiation on the characteristics of penetration of the powder material. Systematically will be described the process of influence the radiation penetration in the heat-affected zones of restored surfaces, dependence of hardness characteristics of the resulting build-up of layers of the laser power. There will also be performed microarray analysis of surfaces and heat-affected zone defined in the base material. All analyzed processes are displayed graphically and identified the dependence of the hardness and power of laser, the thermal penetration zone and frequency of laser impulse and other characteristics. These data will make it possible to determine the most optimal method of recovery of the cutting tools and the work of its technology in the industry
