 Abstract:
Cr3C2-25%NiCr coating by high velocity oxygen fuel spray (HVOF) have been extensively applied to resist abrase and erosion in high temperature applications such as power boiler and turbine blade.A type of ultrafine nickel-chrome alloy were used to made Cr3C2-25%NiCr powders with agg that possess excellent flow ability and appearance with agglomerated and sintered mothed. Microstructure of the ultrafine Cr3C2-25%NiCr powders and coatings were observed through scanning electronic microscope (SEM), and bond strength and microhardness of coatings were measured by tensile shearing test and Vickers hardness test. It is indicated that ultrafine Cr3C2-25%NiCr coatings have some outstanding properties to traditional Cr3C2-25%NiCr coatings by HVOF.
