 Abstract:
During the thermal plasma spraying, an electric arc generates between the cathode and anode nozzle, and the working gas is entered at the base of the cathode, heated by the arc, and out from the nozzle with high temperature and velocity. The sprayed materials are introduced into the plasma jet in particle/powder form, after experienced the heating and accelerating process they will deposit on the pretreated substrate to form special coatings.
