 Abstract:

In this paper, the effects of single-layer single-pass laser cladding power and scanning speed on the microstructure and properties of cladding layer under powder feeding laser cladding conditions are studied. The results show that the dense and defect-free coating can be obtained under different laser power and scanning speed. The coating consists of ±, ³, M2B, (Fe, Cr)7C3 phases, and exhibits good metallurgical bonding with the substrate. As the laser power increases and the scanning speed decreases, the width of heat-affected zone, dilution rate and coating oxygen content exhibits linear growth. When the laser power is set to 2600W and the scanning speed is 12mm/s, the coating hardness increases to 690HV0.2, which is 3.57 times the hardness of the substrate. The wear resistance of the substrate has a significantly improved.
