 Abstract:
Increased operating temperatures and higher efficiency in gas turbines and jet engines can reduce CO2 emission, thus contributing to the prevention of global warming. To achieve this goal, it is essential to improve the properties of high temperature materials.
As for new materials, intermetallic alloys, refractory alloys, ceramics, etc., are also being developed as possible abradable materials. In this project was heat resistant materials have been proposed and evaluated for constructed of abradable coatings.
To achieve high heat resistance and low friction coefficient at the same time we prepared mix powders. Tribological properties, abrasive wear resistance of the composite coatings were studied under high temperature.
Due to the formation of controlled porosity on surface of abradable coatings, developed composite coatings have high tribological properties and wear resistance, which work in hard load and friction conditions with enable more efficient operation.
