 Abstract:
In this paper the effect of surface preparation on metal superalloy Inconel 625 substrates was evaluated using sandblasting and iceblasting, over the adhesive-cohesive strength of coatings NiCoCrAlY applied by atmospheric plasma spray (APS). The adhesive-cohesive strength measurements were carried out according to ASTM C633. The results showed that there is a significant effect on the adhesive-cohesive strength when method iceblasting. On the other hand, there were no statatistical representative differences between the responses obtained for the two different method studied.
