 Abstract:
Saint-Gobain Coating Solutions, manufacturer of equipment and materials dedicated to thermal spraying, continues to develop its range of flame equipment by presenting the new generation of their Master Jet Auto. This new equipment combines the ease of use of the wire flame spray process with the versatility of a plasma equipment and will allow customers to take part in the new industrial revolution. With this new version of the equipment, the wire flame spray process remains the best industrial process for many applications due to its excellent reproducibility, its unmatched cost price for the projection of drawable materials, as well as its high level of process control and automation. In addition, thanks to the wide range of Flexicord consumable, the Master Jet Auto offers remarkable versatility by being able to produce high quality metallic, ceramic and carbide coatings. Discover also our last manual flame spray gun! The Master Jet 3s is the best in class manual flame spray gun!!! Productivity, versatility, safety and simplicity are the key words of the new Master Jet 3s. Simple and unique at the same time, the Master Jet 3s reaches very high level of safety.
Some applications will be presented as an example, the application of a coating that goes into the manufacture of power capacitors, a component dedicated to the conversion of electrical energy for hybrid and electric vehicles. Still in the field of vehicles, low friction applications of transmission parts such as gearboxes: demonstration of the technical and economic interest of the wire flame spray process for molybdenum spraying, offering possibilities of managing the hardness of the coating thanks to the spray parameters.
