| Abstract: |
Saw welding in narrow gap profiles with use of industrial robots is a new technology, which implies a significant reduction in requirements for professional skills of a welder while increasing quality and reliability of the welding process. A key factor of success of this technology is an automatic positioning of the welding torch through the use of a laser scanner. This lecture will consider the actual use of technology in real application.
