| Abstract: |
It has been learnt that there is a need to develop high performance coating compositions to be deposited by thermal spray processes for various industrial applications especially for the power plant boilers. Here-in, HVOF sprayed Ni-20Cr+1%Zr on A213 TP347H boiler steel has been assessed by severe corrosion tests at high temperature in molten salt environment. Corrosion kinetics followed by FE-SEM/XRD analysis were recorded to evaluate the performance and the outcome is discussed in the present study.
