 Abstract:
Solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) is an efficient and clean power generation device that can directly convert the chemical energy of the fuel gas into electricity. Electrolyte as the core component of SOFC, ensuring the density of electrolyte then to reduce the thickness, it is very meaningful whether to lower the operating temperature of SOFC, or improve the efficiency of the cell. In this study, <5¼m YSZ electrolyte thin film was prepared by using the method of plasma spray-physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD) under the power of 65kW. Though controlling the temperature of the substrate and the concentration of the gas phase, a thin dense film about 3¼m is obtained, and the size of columnar grain can be controlled to a certain extent.
