Conference Location of Essen

With approx. 570,000 inhabitants, Essen is one of Germanys ten biggest cities. In the last century, the city gained fame as the centre of the coal and steel industries in Germany, but viewed historically, the period in which these industries were predominant was only relatively short. Today, Essen is a modern business, commercial and service metropolis at the heart of the Ruhr area. Essen is home to the headquarters of some of Germanys biggest companies. Our conference will be held in the Congress Center of Messe Essen which is one of the top-ten German trade fair locations (www.messe-essen.de/essen-fairground).
